Liubao tea has been cultivated in Wuzhou, Guangxi for over 1,500 years. Named after the ancient town of Liubao, this dark tea is renowned for its post-fermentation aging process, developing complex notes of betel nut, dark chocolate, dried fruit and warm wood over years of careful storage.
Nixing pottery from Qinzhou has a history spanning more than a thousand years. As one of China’s Four Famous Potteries, Nixing ware is hand-thrown from local red and purple clay, then kiln-fired to create unique natural color variations. Its porous yet durable nature makes it ideal for brewing and enhancing Liubao tea.
Together, these two traditions from the same landscape of Guangxi represent a heritage of craftsmanship, patience and connection to the earth.
