Eight Scenes, One City: A Landscape Steeped in Tea
The tea of 2013 is encased in eight vistas of Wuzhou. Eight small boxes hold eight scenes: the mist of Mandarin Duck Bridge, the smoke of Longmu Temple, the sunset glow of Qilou City, the tea mountains of Liubao Town… Each box is a chapter of Wuzhou’s story, every sip a tender recollection of this city.
Twice Steamed, Twice Pressed, Aged Charm Endures
Crafted with the traditional double-steaming and double-pressing technique. The dry tea is tightly and evenly rolled, dark brown and lustrous; when brewed, the liquor shines bright red, with aged and woody aromas mingling as they rise. The tea’s energy is full and robust, offering ample potential for aging, while its flavor is harmonious, sweet, and mellow, gliding across the throat like silk.
Soft, Supple Leaves: A Landscape with Soul
The brewed leaves unfold soft and tender, breathing the moist air of Wuzhou. As you drink, it’s as if you were walking through the solemnity of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, the lushness of Guangxin Forest Park, the Zen spirit of Si’en Temple, and the gentle depth of Li Jishen’s former residence—a complete journey through eight scenes on the palate.
Award-Winning Design, A Gift of Connection
This tea gift was awarded the Second Prize in Packaging Design at the 2020 China (Guangxi) Liubao Tea Competition. The design of eight 50g boxes is like eight drinkable landscape postcards; packaged eight boxes to a case, it is perfectly suited as a city memento to share as a token of affection.
Crafted with a double-steaming and double-pressing technique, this tea boasts a robust tea essence and promises rich, layered complexity with age. The dry tea features tightly coiled, uniform strips in dark brown with a lustrous sheen. The liquor displays a bright reddish hue, with aromas of aged fragrance and woody notes wafting gracefully. Its taste is harmonious and multi-layered—sweet, mellow, and smooth. The brewed leaves are soft and supple.
This premium Liubao tea gift set is inspired by eight iconic landmarks of Wuzhou: the Yuangjiang Bridge, Dragon Mother Temple, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Qilou Arcade District, Guangxin Forest Park, Liubao Town, Li Jishen’s Former Residence, and Sien Temple.
It was awarded the Second Prize in Packaging Design at the 2020 China (Guangxi) Liubao Tea Competition.
