Guangxi Wuzhou Liubao Tea Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as “Wuzhou Liubao Tea Company”) was established in 2016 and was upgraded to a Category I state-owned enterprise in Wuzhou City in May 2024. It is a state-owned Liubao tea enterprise integrating tea cultivation, processing, research and development, storage, sales, skills training, technological innovation, and asset management. With a registered capital of 1 billion yuan, the company operates three wholly-owned subsidiaries. Guided by the development philosophy of “one leaf fostering an industry and enriching local communities,” the company aims to establish and promote an agricultural-industrial system for Wuzhou Liubao tea that benefits farmers. Adopting an operational model of “company + base + cooperative + farmers,” it has developed over 16,000 mu of tea gardens through self-construction and partnerships, supporting 15 rural cooperatives.

      The company has built the largest public Liubao tea warehouse in China and the Guangdong-Hong Kong Tea Industry Trading Platform. It has developed more than 200 Liubao tea products under the “Tea Boat Ancient Route” brand, categorized into five series: Origin, Specialty, Cultural, Traditional, and Classic. Sales have expanded to cover Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and surrounding regions, with Nanning and Macao serving as bridges to extend the market to Southeast Asia, Europe, and the United States.

      Aligned with the strategic goal of building Guangxi’s tea industry into a half-a-trillion-yuan sector, the company focuses on the “Three Origins and Six Teas” strategy, driving the healthy development of the entire Liubao tea industry chain through state-owned enterprise leadership. It aims to strengthen and expand the public regional brand of Wuzhou Liubao tea, striving to become a “leading tea enterprise and century-old tea company.” The company has received numerous honors, including National High-Tech Enterprise, National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise, Autonomous Region-level Agricultural Industrialization Leading Enterprise, Guangxi High-Quality Certification Enterprise, Guangxi Gazelle Enterprise, the Quality “Mark” Certification issued by the Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre (STC), and municipal intangible cultural heritage recognition for “Liubao Tea Dry Storage Techniques.”
