Dragon Mother is a goddess from Chinese folklore during the Zhou and Qin dynasties, surnamed Wen and named Ao, a native of Cangwu. She was born on the eighth day of the fifth lunar month during the Warring States period (290 BC), a day later known as “Dragon Mother’s Birthday.” People revere Dragon Mother as the “Goddess of the Xijiang River.” To commemorate this sacred annual festival of “Dragon Mother’s Birthday” on the eighth day of the fifth lunar month, the “Tea Horse Road 0508 Digital Brand Liubao Tea” was specially launched.

This tea is made from premium 2015 first-grade original-variety tea leaves sourced from Liubao Town, Cangwu County—the tea’s place of origin. It is meticulously crafted using modern techniques combined with traditional wet-piling, steaming, and pressing fermentation methods.
